Our field of view

Reading the geometry
of the Universe.

We study the relativistic aspects of astrophysics and cosmology: from gravitational waves and black holes to the large-scale structure of the Universe.

Our work brings together exact solutions of Einstein’s equations, gravitational lensing, inhomogeneous cosmology and computer algebra in general relativity.

Further horizons

From mathematical methods and classical physics to black holes and modern cosmology.

Maximally extended Schwarzschild spacetime: two exteriors, black-hole and white-hole regions, past and future horizons, singularities, and all conformal infinities at both ends.
